My music sound stopped working.

As in, the only sounds I can here are error sounds from my Computer.

Any idea what may be up? And yes, I've tried restarting.

Have you checked your sound options?

Mine muted itself the other day. I didn't realise untill after checking all the wires a load of times and taking the card out :/

try reinstalling your sound drivers and by "error sounds" do you mean jsut a beep? if its a beep then you dont have any sound drivers installed.

Check your device manager and make sure your sound card is installed / working / there's no yellow question marks labeled "sound"

Check Bios to ensure your onboard sound is enabled (if that's what you use).

what other sounds are you trying to hear? music,messenger,games,etc...?
