I just finished watching Desperado, and now i have a craving for spanish guitar songs.Please recomend some goodies.

There are a lot of Muse songs that go well with the accustic, best ones are Nature1 and City of Dillusion.

well it depends of what you're talking about ... mariachi music is south american ..spanish guitar is generally called Flamenco ..here's a couple of flamenco greats:
Paco de lucia
Paco Peña
you're on your own for mariachi bands ..but they pretty much all play traditional music

Check out the album "Friday Night in San Francisco" by McLaughlin, Di Meola, and De Lucia. If that doesn't satisfy you, then nothing will.

Ooh, you kid.
There is a spanish guitar are the beginning of the song, albeit short, so he really wasn't kidding.
The dude from Avenged Sevenfold plays a mean spanish guitar. Listen to the song Sidewinder if you don't believe me, especially the very end (which is amazing).

Cancion de la Mariachi is the song in the beggining of Desperado, and all the music in the movie is done by Los Lobos (excellent band). I suggest you get some of there songs.
