Laptop mice : wired or wireless?

Yo yo all

Just recieved my Aspire 5652wlmi T2300 laptop today so its pretty good for gaming as far as laptops gp. Just wondering if its worth getting a wireless laptop mouse or just dishing out for a normal desktop mouse for gaming aswell as everyday use?

Its impossible to play on the pad as we all know.

Any recommendations?

I just got a logitech mini optical wireless mouse, works great for everything on my laptop.
Works well on most surfaces as well, such as the uneven surface of bedsheets.
