Played it. I just don't get point & click most of the time. In this demo I talked to a dude for five minutes about salami sausages. When I didn't have any speech options left I tried to walk past the salami dude, to a door I needed to go through (I think) but the game cut-scened me back to my place every time I tried. Then I tried to use my golfclub on him, but that didn't really have the desired effect. I mean, he didn't go down or anything. Got frustrated and un-installed. I still have the download on my HD so if anyone can convince me this is good (and offer a walkthrough for the salami dude) I'll reinstall.

Nice! Downloading. Eurogamer had an interview with the creator of the game not too long ago and it sound it could be a decent P&C.

Yep. I loved the first 2, they were ace. Going to try the demo tonight.

I didn't like the 3rd one. Hopefully this is better. Why go 3D if it looks and plays worse than the 2D versions... anyhow... dowloading.

The lack of saving was getting on my nerves. Due to a crash I had to repeat the whole salami/apron part, and it locked up with all kinds of crazy colors on the monitor a bit after I smoked those guys out of the room (video card overheated I guess). I was so pissed I didn't even bother trying again.

Agreed. You can't alt-tab without it crashing. Then I enabled subtitles and went back into the game and it crashed the same way.

I'm not even going to bother again until they patch it with a save function.

They seriously need to go back to 2D. The characters are so emotionless it's unbelievable. The salami guy has this expressive voice, but his model just stands there playing the breathing animation while his mouth moves, his eyes are dead.

The level doesn't have much detail either, the same as in the 3rd game. Maybe 3D characters on 2D backgrounds could work.

I get no speech. There are spots in the game where your character voice and the other npc's disappears and I tried re playing it but the speech vansihes at the same time.
