Ok, Recently my Xbox 360 has been crashing. It happens a few mins into a game. The console freezes and the screen is covered in artifacts. Tbh it sounds like it's gone dead and i'll have to phone up for a damn replacement which takes i dunno how long to get. It's sad because this is the first console to have died on me within a year of purchasing it :(

My Xbox is the core console, brought the HDD separately. Will I have to send my HDD off with it too? (If i have to send it away)

I purchased it a few days before last Xmas, so it's still under warrenty, no?

Yeah, in the UK you get a year warranty by default. I wouldn't send the Hard Drive in, because you'll probably get a new 360 back with a fresh one in.
