Prey?

Just finished the demo of Prey. It is awesome IMO. The intro is quite creative, and seeing that bar all aleinasied...though it took a while to solve some of the puzzles...:laugh:
Anyway, is it worth purchasing the final copy?

If you liked the demo you are going to love the game. The demo was 'meh' for me, but the final game was good.

The game is seriously fun. My rig is'nt really good but I can run everything on high with no lag (check out my xfire profile). Well except for some huge spaces it starts to lag a tad. As the game progresses the environments keep getting bigger, and bigger. *And btw this is no 4 hour game, its a very big game.

I thoroughly enjoyed Prey - no guarantees for other members here though. If you liked Quake 4, definitely. It's like Quake 4.5 - slimy organic things, aliens invading earth, eerie in places, punctuated firefights in others, etc. The .5 comes from wall-walking, spirit-walking, portals, gravity tricks, and a flying vehicle that add a little extra to the game.

Thats because you hated Doom3 while I loved it! :cheese: I just played through on that Cherokee mode and it was better the second time through! :D My only gripe with the game is motion sickness going sideways, etc. And be sure to stay after the credits for a surprise ending...

The demo is extremely front loaded. It's really the best parts of the game. You'll never see anymore interactivity nor any cool effects. Hell, you won't get a new weapon for another 6-7 levels.

Prey is Quake4 but with boring combat and a Cherokee with bad voice acting. That's all.

Play it if you have time to kill or absolutely nothing else to play.
The voice acting isn't all that terrible but what would you say if that shit happened to you?!
