I want to learn html where can you guys help me find a good site for learning html. i am a absolute begginer all i know is some colors heh... please help

For specifications, guidelines, etc. you should visit the official site of the World Wide Web Consortium (http://www.w3.org/). They have extensive documentation for the HyperText Markup Language (http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/) there.

There are THOUSANDS of html help sites. I mean, why wouldn't there be? Without the HTML help sites, tons of websites wouldn't ever be put up. And don't call IchI an ass. He has more logic than you do, that's evident already...

This is a GREAT tutorial section for HTML. Once you've learned HTML, I'd suggest doing their JavaScript tutorials too. Learning JavaScript on my own REALLY prepared me for C++ programming!
