View Full Version : Top Secret Valve Project.

A while back it was posted here that Valve hired a people from Digipen to make a secret project at Valve. Obviously , Portal was that secret project.

Now , how about the 2nd project that was hinted? A MMO society kind of game where you build stuff with people. Do you think this is what Valve is planning to bundle EP3 with? Or is it going to be released on it's own?

Btw , Valve are really working hard. So many projects and game to support that are known to us , but who knows what they are working on deep inside the Valve HQ.

it wasnt garry's mod dude, that was made by a diffrent person/people its something else, and it isnt finished yet or else someone would have posted it on here -,-

Digipen are the people behind Narbacular Drop, so Portal was the most likely secret project

Yeah, the multiplayer/coop building whatever they hinted a while ago is still MIA...possibly a goodie for Ep3?

Sorry I didn't read your post clearly, I didn't know there was a hint of a 2nd project by Digipen

In that case, they may be creating a game and slap the portal tech with it, I can imagine dropping a grenade through a portal, onto an enemies head. I can see it now: Counter-Strike 2180 :)

An MMO? Set in Half-life? Thats free? Where you can be Vorts rebels overwacth etc.? With different classes? If that is true, I'll be in heaven already.

I recall them saying something about an online sci-fi ship-constructing game. Or I made that up in a drug-induced epiphany, but it seemed neat either way.

And, the Warren Spector Source-based game... Haven't heard about that for almost a year. :(

The space thing i can remember, and it had to do with building, so i think that works...

Either way, any game from Valve is a good game.

Someone at PHL mentioned something about Ricochet: Source to me actually.

There was a post in which someone got their info wrong and said that EP2 was going to be delayed and in it's place Valve would dispense Ricochet: Source. But that was faulty intel so who knows.
