This was originally a pencil sketch that turned into a half assed coloring which turned into a semi serious rendering.

Yeah. I remember a sketch-up of some sort some while back. Great job on the final render. :thumbs:

Nice work, but judging by the height of the sword from his back, I would have expected it to come out the other end of the guy (viewable on his right) too. Otherwise it looks like the weight isn't distributed properly.

Looks amazing though, I really like it. Any plans for other fantasy character renders?

The initial penicl sketch I did at work a while back. The coloring I did a few nights ago, which took a couple hours.

very flat, very stiff, don't like this at all

purple shading is too saturated, really is out of place

the background and snow effects are pretty crummy

dunno, it lacks alot of life for me

Actually I agree with you. If it was a serious piece I would be peeved but it was just a run and gun type of deal. At least your honest. :O

At first glance I thought he had his head on backwards. Very stiff + somethings messed up with his right arm. I don't know anything about drawing, can't offer any pointers :(
