Nice idea for a thread. I deleted my last playlist but I remember most of the stuff. I was in a wacky karaoke mood.

Blind Guardian - Nightfall in middle Earth album (choice cuts including Curse of Feanor, Noldor (Dead Winter Reigns), Dark Passage, Nightfall)
Dragonforce - Black Winter Night, and Valley of the Damned
Julie London - The End of the World
Muse - random stuff, Plug-In Baby, Darkshines, Endlessly, Apocalypse Please
Simon and Garfunkel - Wednesday Morning 3am, and A Most Peculiar Man
Axis of Advance - Revolution Decimation, and In Wait Lie (<- drum karaoke)

Great list.

Richard D. James, Autechre, Boards of Canada, and Venetian Snares... fan of idm/drillnbass/experimental ambient then?

Venetian Snares is some caustic stuff (iirc).

Not always.

I don't have playlists. I've been listening to Tool's Opiate EP for the last hour or so (twice through), because I recently re-discovered its awesomeness. There's something to be said about them before they became (supposedly) pretentious jerks.

I think I've only heard the Venetian Snares & Speedranch split.

Question: Is that "Autumn Acid" track legit? I have it, but I can't tell for sure. Never heard of it before.

Half-Quake Amen OST

 I thought I was the only one that listened to that, or actually the only person that played the mod and actually enjoyed it. Ahhh such hilarious artistic torture.

My playlist is usually a bunch of movie soundtracks (The Village, Jurassic Park, Home Alone...), lots of post-rock/experimental stuff (Explosions in the Sky, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, A Silver Mt Zion, Sigur Ros), and some random 80's and 90's pop music. Occasionally there will be Christmas music thrown in, Vince Guaraldi, and some piano music. Every few months I'll listen to Muse for a while and then just get kinda sick of them.

I mean if it's actually done by Aphex/Autechre, or if it's a fake or simply mistitled. God knows I've downloaded plenty of supposed Boards of Canada tracks only to find they were Stereolabs.

Jesus, it took almost 30 minutes to get this file to 100kbs...

So a lot of patches are visible, and some artists are missing but I managed to keep the songs :D

Mine is only 20kb :D here's a tip - use a 256 colour "optimised colour" png - its lossless and also very small.
