what is happening to the citadel at the end? and what on earth is the flying things? It looks like the thing that is showed after the recording with breen.

The "transmission" is being sent out and the excape pods (flying things) are released.
Then the Citadel goes into meltdown after successfully transmitting, and takes out City 17 with it.

Do you really think that the citadel is gone though...? With the core going awol, and the massive explosion, you actually dont see the citadel wavering or falling. I would of thought we would of at least scene something happen... i think we will see it again, but just without power...idk, maybe im thinking to much (or too little, hehehe)

i thought the freakin thing looked like it was lifting off! and the pods...i'm pretty sure were advisors....prolly heading to other citadels

When the pods come near you they do the same thing that the advisor does to you in that room after breen's recording. (are these brain waves?)
So I'm guessing they are advisors.
