What happened to G man?

Once again we don't learn much about G man. I didn't see him throughout the game except in the beginning. He was pissed because vortis were holding him back. I think he was trying to get Gordon to one of his tasks and since you were working with Alyx he did not want to track your progress. Please share with me what you have learned of G man. I think he will be an important character in episodes to come.

I was disappointed that we only got to see Gman in the beginning, I thought he would have a bigger role in Episode 1.

I figured he would have no role in Ep 1 since he lost control. But I expect him to seek revenge in Ep 2 :)

Discover what’s become of City 17, Dr. Breen, and the G-Man. made me think that he would have a bigger role then only in the opening scene.
