I remember in another thread that it was said that the Vortigauts rescue Gordon from the Gman's grasp in AM. And it was also said in a previous interview that Gordon was saved becaused of the rise of the third power. So, the Vortigauts are the third power then? Maybe the third power aided the Vorts or something. Sorry for plunging these jumbled thoughts onto a keyboard, but it's late...

I've heard the thing about the vorts as a rumour, and I think that's the probable reason. I've never heard about that interview though. What was said was that this third power could make things more difficult for Gordon & Co.

So yeah, I dunno.

I see a incredible rise in postcounts...

Anyway, I believe more that the third power's the actual Combine race. So we could see some interesting... eh things during the episodes.

And if the third power is the Combine with all their other wacky races, then the probably wouldn't help the vorts, unless, you know, they're not satisfied with and are engineering a rebellion from there. It might be true.

I don't get why the vorts kill you in hl1, but in hl2 they love you

The vorts were slaves to Nihilanth and the controllers, but they ran amok when Nihilanth was defeated by Freeman. So in a sense, they do love you, but not in a gay manner. No.

I knew that. My question was whether or not the Vorts were the third power. Keep in mind it was that said the Vorts would play a major role in the coming episodes, or something.
