The controller is perfect. Can be used with any game. No need to buy light guns or steering wheels anymore!

I guess it would be neat if this attachment were to ship with the system. I imagine you would have to hold this like a shotgun in order to use the buttons at the front/top.

Nintendo is god.

I love it because it's so pointless. XD No games will require it, but if you want to jump around like a loon with a gun in your hand... you can. And I most certainly will be.

The only thing I don't see room for is the accelerometer working independantly from the Wiimote when slotted in.

What's the accelerometer again? The nunchuk thingy?

It's the motion sensor that's in the nunchuku; the same thing Sony duct taped inside their contollers two weeks ago.
It doesn't correspond to motion real world location but it registers tilt and direction.

Is there really a need for that though?

Just means if there's a shooting game that uses both motion sensing and the accelerometer it can't use The Zapper.
Unless I am missing something,.

Well I guess if it's REALLY necessary for a certain shooter, they can make it so the nunchuku device plugs into the bottom of the Zapper. This would also remove the need to hold it like a shotgun because the nunchuku has a couple of buttons on there that you could use for jumping/ducking/reloading/etc.

This setup would make one of the 2 analogs obsolete though...

That is super cool. Reminds me of the Zapper and Super Scope from years ago.

:D!!!
They should bring the super-scope back. Nothing was cooler than having a bazooka in your bedroom with "Nintendo" written on it :D
