Looks kinda boring. Voice acting is crap. With so many good games out or coming out I don;t see how this stands up. Just another FPS.

Well, I look at Prey and then I look at games like Oblivion and GR:AW and Spore and I can;t see any reason to buy an FPS that, by my account at least, looks very standard. It just doesn;t really seem to do anything new.

As a matter of fact if you cant see how much different this game is then Doom 3 you are delusional and i feel bad for your simple mindness. Just saw the trailer and let me say i think this game is going to be hard, dunno why just feel that way. Maybe is the whole gravity thing. Looks like the story and world shifting is insane. Iv always known im going to get this game, this just makes the wait harder :(

Prey has a lot going for it. I think it's going to be a monster hit with fans of the genre while people that tend to go "just another fps" or "looks like doom3" can go play WoW or whatever it is they play.

I love how you think an rpg and an fps with hardly anything new except for graphical upgrades are somehow less standard than a game that bases much of its gameplay off of things like holes in space connecting different physical areas, walking on walls, exiting your body and performing tasks in a spirit form, sudden gravity changes and much more that challenges most ideas of what should be physically possible in games.

The mechanics of the game looked superb. I agree with torso boy, a game like Condemned is relatively standard compared to the twisting halls of Prey.

I have played it, But then I lost intrest in it after like I got a 60 and messed around with it. They are comming out with an expantion pack for it if you would like to know more about it Pesmerga just PM me.

I am aware of the expansion pack. I'm not arguing whether WoW is a good game or not, I'm saying it gets a hell of a lot of non-deserved flak, just like CS does. I hate it when people automatically judge people by the games they play, or make crude attempts at insults by saying someone plays them.

I'm not really knocking WoW, just implying that people who don't like the looks of prey probably don't care much for the fps-genre anyway.

The only reason why WoW has the "counter-strike" mantra is because it is extremely popular. That is also the one and only reason why some elitist people (read: idiots) keep racking down on cs.

Personally I love css and absolutely hate WoW, but that has nothing to do with my original post, I just picked a popular game that is very different from an fps.

The story looks exciting and original(I don't think many games try to combine sci-fi with Native American mythology), and the game itself looks like it's giving classic run 'n' gun action a technological overhaul in both gameplay and graphics.

The voice-acting is kind of dodgy though. The narrator was doing a good job until the "Dark ones are coming!" line, then it just went downhill. But overall, I'm keeping an eye on this game.

I didn't see the exclusive trailer, but there is a trailer now on 3drealms (http://www.3drealms.com) that is pretty wicked. It was posted on Monday 01.05. Prey is definately going to be a game I am willing to upgrade my rig for.

That new trailer looks cool for the most part. It looks like this game will constantly keep you guessing, because nothing is set in stone, not your size, not even gravity. Which is awesome. The art design is great too. The only major flaw I can see is the dialogue. I hate when my character talks to himself and says utterly stupid things ("Oh my god, he's a giant").

I do agree on the dialogue, but I am a fan of games, not of theatre. The dialogue will have to be extremely bad to put me off even 5%.
