Just a rumour, but it would great news if true. Did anyone here play NiGHTS into Dreams (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NiGHTS_Into_Dreams) on the Saturn? It was an amazing game, a true classic, and would lend itself perfectly to the Revolution controller.
Anyhoo, here's the link (not much info) - http://www.revo-europe.com/news.php?nid=9013

Oh man. I never PLAYED the game but i remember friends playing it back in the day. Man iv always wanted to play. I missed a lot of games back in the day. The Revolution is really opening up some options for me to visit the past.

Hopefully :)
I can't believe Nights came out 10 years ago! Where does the time go?

I loved the game. I wouldn't mind if it was just downloadable through virtual console.
But an update! Wow! That would really make my day (year?) complete.
The Revolution really is looking to be a front-runner this time with a fantastic line up of games already.

Very true. At the start when Revolution was just shown i was blown away by the controller but still wasnt really interested in it to much. With all these features and games im getting more and more interested in it.

It'd be nice to see such a great game get a sequel, but I'm going to remain skeptic on this. Yuji Naka's said before that he didn't want to create a sequel to NiGHTs. Besides, wasn't he leaving Sega?

I'm not sure. I read on another forum that Yuji Naka wanted to make Nights ('Air Nights') using a controller you could move about - apparently a prototype was made for the DC.

NiGHTS Into... Revolution?
[nintendo]
Sega fans take note. The latest issue of Japanese publication Famitsu reports that Sonic Team's whimsical Sega Saturn flight-simultator-ish title NiGHTS Into Dreams will be seeing a new iteration on Nintendo's upcoming Revolution. With its high-flying acrobatic gameplay, the game seems like a natural fit for the gestural 3D mechanics of the upcoming system's controller. NiGHTS creator and longtime Sega designer Yuji Naka has apparently left Sega to found his own studio, but he plans to maintain close ties with Sega. Famitsu seems to indicate that the game is in the hands of a newly independent developer, and Naka would fit the bill.
Reports from January indicated that Sega is also working on a Sonic the Hedgehog title for Revolution, and rumor has it there may be a total of three Revolution-exclusive games in the works from Sega.
Not content to stir the pot with just one new Revolution rumor, Famitsu also stated that next week the magazine will be revealing Revolution's E3 lineup.

Might be true after all.

It was supposed to be an attachment for the Saturn. Thats why the 3D analog controller has that wierd little clip thing that comes off. Of course, it was never released.
If this news is true, I guess I'm going to have to buy the dumb console. Its still great news though, I was always hoping for a NiGHTS game on the Dreamcast and it was cool seeing that NiGHTS themed pinball machine in Sonic Adventure.

Unrelated news entirely, but a new game has been announced for the revolution named "Sadness". It takes place in a 1930's Film Noir setting...and the whole game is in black and white.

Was that the game that came with the circular controller? I remember my brother bought this. Cool game.
