Is Valve planning something more for Alyx/Mossman?

If they are, can they pull it off well?
Or will HL go along the lines of Max Payne 2 and force a romance on us gamers?

But showing some form of affection might need to work somewhere along the line. How about a leap into Gordon's arms? They could do something cool by weighting the movement of the viewport, and Alyx animating sorta like an equipt weapon would.

If they did it like Star Wars: KOTOR then it would be acceptable, in case you havent played that game yet heres how the romance plot lines were laid out, if you didnt trigger certain conversations or did certain actions in the game the romance wouldnt be played out, however if you said certain things or did certain things in the correct way you could play out the romance sub-plot to the end. But if he falls in love with anyone it should be Alyx, cause shes the only female character that genuinely cares for Gordon, you can tell by the way she acts and says things like when she rescues you at the end of Point Insertion when you wake up shes standing over Gordon and smiling in a minorly suggestive (not too suggestive though), also when your traveling to Kleiners lab in Red Letter Day shes totally distracted by Gordon, i could tell this by the way she walked and talked to him, she seemed really taken in by Gordon even though they only had just met each other, but i trust VALVe completely on this one.
