Streaming world, the ability to save anywhere, great music and tons more is only hindered a bit by its not-so-great story.

9.5 - Graphics
Coming about as close to the console series as possible on the PSP, this game simply looks fantastic.

9.0 - Sound
Great audio effects and a killer soundtrack that all play with excellent fidelity.

8.5 - Gameplay
Great platforming through and through that harkens back to the good 'ol days of gaming.

8.0 - Lasting Appeal
The game lasts a reasonable amount of time, but going back through to collect everything along with the mini-games and nice Bug Combat will keep you hooked.

OVERALL - 9.0

The pint-sized Daxter is every bit as good as its console counterparts, bringing all the best elements of the action-platformer Jak games fluidly to the PSP.

The Good: Gorgeous, simply gorgeous; outstanding sound and music; wonderful adaptation of the standard jak gameplay; a lot of things to do in the game, and reason to play through again.

The Bad: Some slight control and camera issues; still using the jak formula, for better or for worse.
