playing a downloaded map in ut2004

hey i have a question -

let's say i downloaded a map in ut2004 from the server, how would i go about playing it or creating a server with it?

Doesn't it just go into the Maps directory?

you go to a download site and download it...

no i can't find any of the maps i downloaded from servers in the maps directory...

I think ist called "cache" not sure thoe
