I was a bit disappointed by the HDR in Militia when it was first introduced, it didn't enhance the gameplay and I didn't notice it unless I was blatantly looking for it.

Fantastic! Now I can turn off HDR in Dust, just like all the other maps!

The maps on my 7800 gtx Look INSANE with hdr no idea how you can notice it.

7800GT here...and I think militia is beautiful with HDR...

However that is the only source map I've played that looks good with HDR on...
All the others don't seem to get it right, hmmm.

I think the maps look beautiful in HDR.

These maps probably wont come out till next year... but oh well :P

Militia looks awesome! I'm so glad I bought a 7800 GT to replace my old X800 XL which always displayed HDR too WHITE, and thus it looked horrible. Plus the 60hz bug is too much to deal with. I play CS in 2048x1536 with HDR and it looks absolutely stunning. Can't wait to see the new ones.

Yes HDR is good....I wish they would implement it into HL2.

Hahahaha! Agreed. :cheers:

My x850XT PE is great for most things, but HDR a map and say goodbye to your fps. An upgrade will be in order once the DX10 cards start hitting with Vista whenever that actually is....

who the hell plays with HDR?

Anyone with half a brain shuts it off because it's simply a disadvantage to have on.

Because he's one of the people who don't know what HDR actualy does and thinks it makes you go blind from your screen going completly white.

I don't see it as a disadvantage. If you mean lower fps as a disadvantage... then it's not if you have a good computer :P
