I just reformatted my pc because i had a spyware infection. I purchased my Counter-Strike Source from Steam not the store. Ever since installed Steam and updated Counter-Strike Source i get the error. "hl2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." i've looked in a lot of different forums including this one and

and i cant find any help on how to fix the problem. does anyone know how?
