Morrowind Help

I need some help in Morrowind. How can I enchant a weapon with like a fire spell, or a lightning spell, or something else? Where can I do this and who do I have to talk to? Also, is there any recommendations as where I can buy really good weapons?? I haven't played this game forever, so I forgot these things :(

You need to find an enchanter, they're in some of the more major cities. Like Vivec. Somewhere in Vivec.

Or boost your own enchanting skill level and then drag a stone with a soul in it onto your weapon/armour much harder than paying for it to be done though. You also need to know the spell you want to enchant the weapon with.

Thanks for the tips :) One more question. How can I trap something inside a soul gem, and is there only a specific thing I can trap in the soul gem..like spirits, or can I trap animals as well??

you need to use soul trap(mysticism skill) on a creature before killing it(soul trap needs to be in effect when you deal the killing blow) and you need to have a gem of the correct size to capture the soul, the more powerfull the creature the bigger soul gem you need.

the more powerfull a creature the more powerfull spell you're able to make.

smaller creatures can get in bigger gems, but it's a waste.

That's why you get the soul gem that never breaks. I got it a long time ago...and I think I can get it again.

Or you can, if you get bored, cheat in worldedit and make a uber-powerful weapon with every single spell effect for free. It's fun to muck with the settings and create super-powerfull fireballs that explode reeeaaaly slowly through, I don't know, Vivec or something.
